Job Description

Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for a Purchase Manager in the SN4 area. In this role, you’ll manage stock levels, optimize processes, and ensure efficient purchasing to meet business needs. Temp to perm £35,000 - £40,000 Company Events Free Parking Private Medical Insurance Monday – FridayKey responsibilities: Managing stock levels, generating reports, and conducting regular inventory counts. Placing orders to replenish stock and forecasting demand using data analysis. Utilizing inventory software to track levels, optimize reorder points, and reduce costs. Collaborating with Operations and Sales teams to streamline processes. Leading projects like implementing barcoding for medical devices. Identifying products/services for purchase and verifying suppliers. Working with the Quality team to ensure stock meets company standards. Managing budgets, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining procurement records.About the right candidate: Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or 5 years of relevant experience). Experience with inventory management software (Cin 7 and Zero experience a plus). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality.
