Job Description

My client, a top-tier FMCG company, is looking for a Warehouse Distribution Manager to drive innovation, efficiency, and financial sustainability within their distribution network. This is not a traditional DC/warehouse role; this position requires an analytical, finance-savvy strategist who can reshape warehouse operations through data-driven decision-making, cost modelling, and automation. Key Responsibilities: Design and optimise a scalable, cost-efficient warehouse distribution network. Develop financial models and cost optimisation strategies to streamline operations. Leverage data analytics and forecasting to improve budget planning and decision-making. Lead modernisation and digital transformation projects in warehouse and distribution operations. Oversee distribution cost modelling, scenario planning, and risk assessments. Collaborate with senior leadership to implement cutting-edge logistics best practices. Manage and develop a high-performing team of Analysts to drive strategic initiatives. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in warehouse network design and supply chain optimisation. Strong financial and actuarial expertise with proven success in cost modelling and forecasting. Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role driving warehouse and distribution strategy. Experience with automation, ERP systems, and modern warehouse technologies. A results-driven mindset with the ambition to progress into an executive-level role.
