Workshop Foreman

We are a leading company in the security industry that strive for service excellence and quality products. We require the services of a Workshop Foreman to join our team in a fast paced and energetic environment. The main purpose of the position is to participate in the repair and servicing of all makes and models of vehicles within the Companies fleet (mainly Nissan NP200, 300, Isuzu, Hilux, Ford Ranger). ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Test drive and perform quality checks on vehicles completed by the workshop team and ensure quality work is performed. Diagnose and repair engine faults, brake system, engine cooling system, suspension system, and engine assembly. Diagnose mechanical and auto electrical problems quickly and accurately. Maintain adequate inventory of parts, equipment and supplies used in repairing and servicing vehicles. Monitor tools, tool room equipment, and maintenance and safety practices. Complete and ensure all tasks as reflected on job cards in accordance to quality standards. Attend to all breakdowns during office hours and after hours. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE : 5 to 10 Years experience working independently as a workshop foreman Diagnosis of Electrical faults SKILLS & COMPETENCIES : Computer Literacy (MS Office) Articulate and able to communicate on all levels face to face and telephonically Planning & Organisational skills Ability to deliver against deadlines and/or adapt and prioritise work output as and when required GENERAL: RSA citizen Valid unendorsed driver's license Own transport Clear criminal record Good contactable references
