Operations Director

Manage and continuously develop the Mining strategy and operations through Technology and a team of team concept. Identify and Map key players in the industry and assist with the building of a Mining network within Sub Saharan South Africa. Train, guide and support staff in strategy, operational effectiveness, and technology execution. To ensure the effective control and management of operational processes, from planning, collection through delivery and financial control, in accordance with the clients requirements and company policies. Key Performance Areas: Building of Teams Financial Control Review and maintain operational processes Manage Key Accounts Manager suppliers and buying conditions Rate Proposals Risk Management Quality Control Customer Services Continuous Improvement Key Requirements of the job: Education: Matric or equivalent thereof. Diploma/Degree in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Project Management, Engineering, Finance Experience: 5 Years working in a Supervisory or managerial role Minimum 5 years working experience in a customer facing role General knowledge of Customs procedures will be an advantage
