Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted License: Must have an active MD or Compact License at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Flu Vaccine Required - religious and medical exemptions accepted on a case-by-case basis Job Description: - Labor & Delivery RN - Nights - 4x12s; every other weekend required as scheduled; holidays as they fall are required - Orientation Hours: 24 - Compliance document deadline is 5 days prior to start - Most units will require the CPI certification as part of compliance - Travelers are required to go in for their labs within 72 hours of signing their contract - Requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of initial submission; it cannot be changed or added once offered - RTO should not exceed 7 days, and if more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week will be added to the end of the contract - Most locations and units allow for one major holiday off during the winter season - Auto offers must be accepted without an interview if turned on - Scheduling restrictions such as block schedules cannot be requested - Candidates must be comfortable with floating within the hospital with no restrictions, as long as it is within their experience scope - Return traveler policy requires a 6-month gap before returning - Extensions allow for one contract extension, then a 6-month break is required before returning - Modules are non-billable and factored into orientation hours Please review the job description for specific requirements and note that deal-breakers should be considered before applying.
