Job Description Reporting to the Outlet Maitre'd, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Provide friendly and engaging service to guests Assist guests with beverage menu items in an informative and helpful manner Mix drinks and maintain beverage stock levels according to guidelines Have a thorough knowledge of beverage lists and promotions Be familiar with all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous serving or bartending experience in a high volume, fine dining/upscale restaurant or lounge required, 2-3 years minimum. Certification in Bartending an asset TIPS Certification Required Strong classic cocktails knowledge Service oriented, team player, flexible in high paced environment and able to handle pressure with grace. Must be able to complete all physical aspects of the job without restriction, i.e. Lift 25 lbs at a time, stand and walk for up to 8 hours. Previous point of sale system experience an asset Additional Information Schedules: Mix of day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays.
