Job Description: As the Director of Training & Development, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all aspects of training at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. You’ll work collaboratively with Talent & Culture and Department Heads to assess, develop, and facilitate all training and ensure engagement from colleagues and leaders. Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000 Annual Salary. What you will be doing: The Director of Training & Development will be responsible for all Hotel and Corporate training programs through collaboration, effective communication, and positive working relationships with all colleagues. This will include: Implementing and evaluating new training initiatives to maximize operational effectiveness and ultimately guest satisfaction. Planning, coordinating, and presenting corporate training programs in accordance with Accor requirements. Conducting meetings with Department Heads, trainers, and employees to review performance trends, develop action plans, and give recognition. Facilitating and supporting Fairmont Learning Programs with a focus on New Hire Orientation, Heartist Journey, Service Culture, and Luxury Service Standards. Your experience and skills include: Previous proven experience developing and facilitating management and leadership development training programs. Training experience in a similar function in a luxury hotel is an asset. Ability to prioritize simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork, customer service focused, positive attitude.
