We have a great opportunity of Project Manager - Store Planning & Delivery to join our Head Office in Paris and to be responsible for the project management of Retail and Wholesale store projects across Europe and the UK. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on time delivery of all projects. Oversee multiple projects, prepare planning programs that include concept, design, and delivery of completed projects on time and within budget. The role will be responsible for the tender process and identifying new consultancies for design, architecture, and construction, along with strengthening existing relationships. Project Development Phase Proactively maintain the new store, wholesale project, maintenance, and store refurbishment schedule. Prepare new store briefing pack for store designers and architects, including: Core details - address, size, handover dates, budget. Tenant requirements that initial build planning. Local government and permitting requirements. Store operational requirements - security and POS functional specification, VM, storage. Create and manage internal critical path incorporating the building program, associated consultants such as Architects, local AoR, security, and WHS. Identify external providers required, manage contract negotiation and implementation of services such as AoR, GCs, security, WHS, and utilities. Manage budget and financial aspect of projects with the appropriate internal stakeholders. Execution and Building Phase Manage approved schedules to achieve all critical milestones. Adjust and update as needed during the lifecycle of a project. According to the business strategy co-ordinate initial, retail and landlord design approval and manage these sign offs throughout the building stage. Manage all internal and external stakeholders to achieve committed milestones whilst maintaining successful relationships. Coordinate and manage drawing sets and milestones from schematic, design development and construction documents. Review drawings and conduct page turns with related teams. Establish competitive bidding, contract administration and project related legal and financial controls. Build proper bid books, cost plans forecasts, budget history and issue PO’s for to ensure transparency and reportability. Maintain excellent relationships with contractors, consultants, designers, and internal teams. Oversee construction so that desired quality build outcomes are maintained. Manage and report on change orders, and overall budget management. Handover of store to be coordinated with all stakeholders for a seamless transition to trade. Work closely with Store Designer to manage acquisition, transport and delivery of client supplied items such as artworks and furniture. Liaise with retail operations team to ensure new store checklists are progressing in line with store openings. Handover Process Build to high quality and handover store to retail 100% defect free. Handover coordinated with all stakeholders for a seamless transition from store planning to retail. Manage the completion of all defects post opening by liaising with Store Designer and builders as required. Coordinate all necessary inspection and certification documents. Create subcontractor details for future use. Support retail operations to organise any required maintenance contracts. Stores Maintenance Methodically manage maintenance schedule in conjunction with Retail operation and Visual Merchandising teams. Support retail operations to research and vet vendors for repair projects – both interior and exterior such as carpentry, general handymen, painting, electrical, heating, ventilation, HVAC, plumbing, etc. Maintain inventory manifests for Zimmermann bought designer furniture and artwork.
