Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in St. Petersburg, FL

We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join a busy emergency department in St. Petersburg, FL. This position offers a mix of day, evening, and night shifts, providing coverage for a variety of cases in a non-trauma, adult-focused ER setting. The physician will work in a hospital with an average daily census of 130 patients and 40 daily admissions. The patient demographics primarily include adults, with a focus on cardiac, stroke, neuro, and orthopedic cases. There is minimal exposure to pediatric and OB/GYN cases. The emergency department sees approximately 35,000 annual ER admissions. The schedule for this role includes shifts on weekdays and weekends. Physician should be proficient in emergency core procedures and moderate sedation. Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Must have experience in emergency medicine with a focus on adult patients, particularly cardiac and neuro cases.
