Group Financial Manager

Job purpose: This role entail overseeing the accounting functions of the company. Analyse and provide strategic insights, risk management and financial efficiency to drive business growth. Duties and responsibilities: Financial accounting and management accounting Oversee financial accounting department Maintain controls and procedures Final escalation for payables and receivables External audit review and sign off Annual financial statements review Monthly management reports Financial performance monitoring and variance analysis Cash and liquidity management Debt and capital management Investment and risk management advise Banking and compliance Treasury performance and reporting Financial planning and budgeting Present annual financial management budget to the management team Review budget performance monthly Risk management and insurance Tax planning Asset / fixed asset management Asset disposal and end of life planning Company secretarial activities Legal documentation and governance oversight Corporate and trust compliance and statutory filings BBBEE Requirements: CA (SA), registered with SAICA Compliance with ongoing CPD requirements as per SAICA regulations 5 - 10 years post qualification with at least three years working in a financial management role in retail or a manufacturing environment
