Country Lead: Warehouse Sevices

Requirements: A solid Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field. 10 years proven experience in warehouse operations at a senior leadership level. Expertise in warehouse design, layout optimization, and infrastructure development. Strong background in implementing systems and processes to elevate efficiency. Ability to craft and execute strategic initiatives, focusing on long-term growth over daily operations. A track record of success in the FMCG, Logistics, or Manufacturing industries. Responsibilities: Lead the transformation and optimization of warehouse services across South Africa. Oversee the design and implementation of world-class warehouse systems & processes. Drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies, ensuring scalability and sustainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the warehouse strategy with broader business objectives. Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, positioning the business as a market leader. Assess current warehouse solutions and develop new solutions with the aim of achieving continuous improvement. Ensure the alignment and integration of activities within warehousing (Warehouse and Distribution) with the rest of the business. Develop standard operating practices for all warehouse activities and ensuring that all these practices are aligned with the business governance (RACM) requirements. Share operational best practices across countries. Align and engage with stakeholders internally and externally. Provide direction and leadership to teams through driving empowerment, accountability, a culture of forward thinking, innovation and continuous improvement (i.e. ensure the continuous modelling of operational performance to meet optimal customer service and cost objectives).
