Intech Systems - Technical Consultant - Business Intelligence

Job Overview : We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Consultant in Business Intelligence to join our team. The ideal candidate will be critical in designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions to drive data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create dashboards, build data models, and ensure the successful delivery of BI projects. Responsibilities : - Requirement Gathering and Analysis : - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions. BI Solution Development : - Design, develop, and implement interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g Build and optimize data models to ensure scalability and performance. - Develop ETL pipelines and integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses or lakes. Data Management : - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reporting solutions. - Implement data governance best practices and adhere to organizational security standards. Project Execution and Delivery : - Manage the lifecycle of BI projects, including scoping, development, testing, and deployment. - Monitor BI systems for performance and troubleshoot issues when they arise. Collaboration and Support : - Provide technical expertise and training to end-users on BI tools and solutions. - Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure smooth integration of BI solutions with existing systems. Continuous Improvement : - Stay up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and trends to recommend improvements. - Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization. Qualification : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. - 3 years of experience in BI development, data analysis, or a similar role. - Proficiency in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or SAP BusinessObjects. - Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts. - Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing solutions (e. - Familiarity with programming languages like Python, R, or DAX for data analysis. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience with cloud platforms - Knowledge of machine learning concepts and advanced analytics. - Certifications in relevant BI tools or platforms Personal Attributes : - Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
