Job Title : Junior Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer Location : Hyderabad, Telangana (Hybrid) About the Job : We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 2-4 years of experience to grow their career in ETL development using Oracle technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL and PL/SQL, a good understanding of ETL concepts, and a desire to learn and expand their knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator. Responsibilities : - ETL Development : Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c. - ODI Development : Create and manage ODI components, including interfaces, packages, variables, and scenarios. - SQL/PL/SQL Development : Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Database Interaction : Work with Oracle databases to perform data manipulation and retrieval. - Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Implement monitoring solutions and troubleshoot issues related to ODI processes and data integration. - Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data mappings. - Collaboration : Work closely with senior developers and other team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions. - Performance Tuning : Identify and address performance bottlenecks in ETL processes and database queries. - Control-M and CDC : Gain knowledge of Control-M scheduling and Change Data Capture (CDC) concepts. - Code Quality : Adhere to coding standards and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Experience : 2-4 years of direct experience in ETL development. - SQL/PL/SQL : Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming. - Oracle Database : Experience working with Oracle databases. - ODI Fundamentals : Fair understanding of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c and its components (interfaces, packages, variables, scenarios, Knowledge Modules). - ETL Concepts : Good understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles. - Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Problem-Solving : Ability to analyze and solve technical problems. - Teamwork : Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Desired Skills and Experience : - Experience with Control-M scheduling. - Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) concepts. - Experience with Java programming. - Knowledge of XML and Shell Scripting. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. - Experience with repositories and packages. - Knowledge of PL/SQL functions, stored procedures, cursors, indexes, query performance techniques, bulk collect, HINT, external tables/global temp tables.
