Microstrategy Developer - SQL/ETL

Role : MicroStrategy Developer Location : Pune Experience : 5 years NOTE : Immediate joiners Mandatory Skills : - Industry Preference : Telecom (Telco) knowledge preferred - MicroStrategy BI, report/dashboard development, schema design, performance tuning, SQL, ETL integration - Develop and optimize MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and datasets; collaborate with data engineers and analysts to deliver insights Job Description : Microstrategy developer provides support and evaluation of BI Management, Application Specialists and the IS Data Warehouse team to leverage existing BI Informatics and Data Warehouse Developer Duties : - Advanced experience in BI Reporting design and development - Participate in the full software development life cycle and provide expertise in D2I (Microstrategy & BICS) development - As a MicroStrategy Developer, lead BI design and development activities, identify risks and recommend risk mitigation plans - Design, implement and maintain all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Perform Microstrategy Project design while ensuring that requirements are met - Contribute to the database design through collaboration with BI analysts, Data Analysts and Data Modelers - Experience with MicroStrategy version 10 development solutions - Engage with the Solution Designer in the reviews and validation of the detailed technical design for business applications to ensure alignment with business requirements - Understand technical specifications and create report design documents - Meet tight deadlines, follow development standards and effectively raise critical issues with the client Responsibilities for microstrategy developer : - Reviewing past projects, identify requests for similar data as candidates for broader solution development - Generate appropriate unit test plans and assure quality of work - Provide support for all phases of testing such as integration testing, and user acceptance testing - Work independently under the guidance of a Technical Lead/Project manager - Collaborate with other team members in creating optimal, maintainable, and scalable Architecture - Expected to be proactive in identifying and escalating issues that will have an adverse impact on the project - Interact with IT management and other teams at a highly professional and technical level - Demonstrate accurate and complete understanding of project scope - Experience in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate a plus - Support the existing BI application to maintain data and system integrity Qualifications for microstrategy Developer : - 5 years of experience with MicroStrategy and experience with release 10.x - Sound understanding of the Microstrategy reporting tool capabilities - MicroStrategy Certified Developer preferred - Develop Key Dashboards, Reports and Documents - Enhance a lot of Mobile Dashboard's, Dynamic Dashboards using URL Api's (ref:hirist.tech)
