Computronics Systems - L2 Netskope Proxy Engineer - IT Operations

Key Responsibilities : - Proficiently manage and administer PROXY solutions, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to PROXY functionality. - Analyze and resolve escalated L1 trouble tickets, addressing issues across layers 1-3 of the OSI model. - Investigate, isolate, and resolve PROXY incidents with root cause analysis (RCA). - Monitor and analyze PROXY system performance and identify potential issues. - Experience in working with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. - Hands-on experience in commissioning and implementing PROXY solutions. - Integrate PROXY solutions with various management, authentication, authorization, reporting, and log integration tools (email, AD, IAM, SIEM). - Experience in automating processes using scripting tools. - Respond promptly to incidents and service requests. - Coordinate with users, helpdesk, other IT support teams, and application support teams to jointly troubleshoot and fix high-priority/severity incidents. - Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of all incidents within SLA. - Troubleshoot network, transport, session, presentation, and application layers of the OSI model. - Utilize packet capture and analysis tools (Wireshark/Pcap) effectively. - Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and industry standards. - Conduct regular audits and performance checks on PROXY systems. - Apply security patches and updates as per bank compliance and audit requirements. - Design and implement PROXY solutions for DC/DR/Cloud and Branch office environments. - Create and maintain SOPs/Runbooks and update knowledge base in ITSM tools. - Work to automate and integrate tools with REST API/SDK with security dashboards and Infosec tools (AD, IDAM, PAM, SIEM, SOAR, etc. - Lead and mentor L1 and L2 engineers within the team. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Create technical documentation, as-built network diagrams, inventory control documentation, and security documentation. - Generate SLA reports for respective technologies. Qualifications : - 3-10 years of experience in network security, with at least 3 years of experience in working on PROXY solutions. - Product certification in Netskope (preferred). - Experience in working with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. - Hands-on experience in commissioning and implementing PROXY solutions. - Experience in integrating PROXY with various management and authentication tools. - Experience in automating processes using scripting tools. - Strong understanding of network protocols and security concepts. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. - Demonstrated success in managing, analyzing, and solving complex issues. - Ownership of technology and a strong commitment to operational excellence (ref:hirist.tech)
