Job Description

Job Title : ServiceNow Developer / Architect (CMDB & CSM). Location : Remote. Employment Type : Full-Time. Responsibilities : - Design and implement a comprehensive and accurate CMDB strategy, including data modeling, discovery, and reconciliation. - Develop and maintain CMDB classes, relationships, and attributes to ensure data integrity and accuracy. - Implement automated discovery mechanisms (Discovery, ServiceWatch) to populate and maintain the CMDB. - Design and implement reconciliation rules to eliminate data duplicates and inconsistencies. - Integrate CMDB with other ServiceNow modules and external systems. - Provide expert guidance on CMDB best practices and governance. - Design and develop CSM solutions to enhance customer service operations and improve customer satisfaction. - Configure and customize CSM modules, including cases, knowledge management, service portals, and customer communities. - Develop custom workflows and automation processes to streamline customer service processes. - Integrate CSM with other ServiceNow modules and external CRM systems. - Design and implement customer-facing portals and interfaces. - Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows using JavaScript, Glide API, and other relevant technologies. - Customize ServiceNow forms, lists, and UI elements to meet business requirements. - Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, and script includes. - Design and implement robust integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. - Utilize Flow Designer and Integration Hub for automation and integration tasks. - Design and architect scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides. - - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams. - Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards. - Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting : - Monitor and optimize ServiceNow performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to CMDB and CSM. - Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. - Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - - Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. - Provide training and support to end-users. Required Skills and Expertise : - Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and its functionalities. - Experience with CMDB data modeling, discovery, and reconciliation. - Proficiency in designing and implementing CMDB integrations. - Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow CSM and its functionalities. - Experience in configuring and customizing CSM modules. - Proficiency in designing customer-facing portals and interfaces. ServiceNow Development : - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and other ServiceNow development technologies. - Experience in developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications and modules. - Proficiency in using Flow Designer and Integration Hub. - Experience in developing and integrating REST and SOAP APIs. - Understanding of API authentication and authorization mechanisms. - Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and design principles. - Ability to design scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions. - Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Preferred Skills : - ServiceNow certifications (Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist - CMDB, Certified Implementation Specialist - CSM). - Experience with ITIL framework. - Knowledge of cloud-based ServiceNow deployments. - Experience with agile development methodologies. - Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 10 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Architect, with a focus on CMDB and CSM. - - Proven experience in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions. - Strong understanding of IT service management principles. - Must be able to join within a reasonable timeframe.
