Job Description : We are seeking a Software Asset Management (SAM) / Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Consultant with at least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro. Required Skills & Experience : - 3 years of experience in SAM/HAM, with hands-on implementation experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro. Key Responsibilities : - Software Asset Management (SAM) Responsibilities : . - Implement and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro to manage software assets, entitlements, and compliance. - Maintain software license records, including entitlements, renewals, and contracts. - Develop and refine Effective License Position (ELP) reports for major publishers (e.g. , Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Adobe). - Identify software compliance risks and optimization opportunities to reduce costs. - Ensure proper normalization, reconciliation, and discovery of software assets. - Provide expertise in Application Recognition Library (ARL), Discovery, and Normalization. - Work closely with procurement teams to align software purchases with business needs. - Generate reports and dashboards for visibility into license utilization, compliance, and cost savings. Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Responsibilities : - Configure and implement ServiceNow HAM Pro for end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle management. - Track hardware assets from procurement to disposal, ensuring accurate inventory and compliance. - Establish and optimize automated workflows for asset provisioning, allocation, and retirement. - Ensure data accuracy by integrating HAM with CMDB (Configuration Management Database). - Develop processes for asset reconciliation between HAM, Procurement, and Finance. - Implement asset tagging, barcode scanning, and RFID-based tracking where applicable. - Define and improve HAM policies and governance standards.
