We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Lead to join our dynamic travel tech company. As a UI/UX Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing user-centric interfaces, guiding the design process, and ensuring that our products provide an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with product managers, engineers and other designers to craft seamless and engaging digital experiences. Key Responsibilities : - Lead Design Strategy : Drive and define the UI/UX design direction across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals and user needs. - Design Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, providing guidance, feedback, and growth opportunities. - User-Centered Design : Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and ensure that designs meet the needs of our users. - Prototyping & Wireframing : Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that translate business requirements into user-friendly solutions. - Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth design implementation and consistency across all platforms. - Design Systems : Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all products. - Feedback Integration : Iterate on designs based on user feedback, business needs, and technical constraints. - Stay Current : Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into the design process. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Proven experience of 6 years as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile designs. - Previous experience leading and mentoring a design team. - Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc. - Strong understanding of design systems, UI guidelines, and industry best practices. - Experience with user research, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback to drive design decisions. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams. - Ability to balance business needs, technical requirements, and user-centered design principles. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience working in an agile development environment. - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles (a plus but not required). - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field. - Experience in a startup will be an added advantage.
