We are currently looking to hire a IBM Optim Consultant (Upgrade & Administration). This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skill set, achieve job satisfaction and work-life balance. Location : INDIA -7 AM TO 4 PM IST (Remote). Contract : 2 months, extendable (REMOTE). Experience : 8 years Responsibilities : - Perform end-to-end administration and maintenance of IBM Optim environments. - Lead the upgrade process from IBM Optim 11.3 to 11.7, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. - Conduct pre-upgrade assessments, compatibility checks, and impact analysis. - Implement data masking, archiving, and test data management solutions using IBM Optim. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, configuration, and compatibility post-upgrade. - Collaborate with DBAs, developers, and IT teams to optimize IBM Optim functionality. - Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements. - Provide technical documentation, upgrade reports, and post-upgrade validation results. - Offer training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on IBM Optim best practices. Requirements : - 8 years of hands-on experience with IBM Optim administration, data archiving, and upgrades. - Expertise in IBM Optim 11.3 and 11.7, including upgrade methodologies and troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge of database technologies (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and integration with Optim. - Experience with IBM Optim Test Data Management (TDM), Data Masking, and Archiving. - Ability to analyze, plan, and execute Optim system upgrades with minimal risk. - Familiarity with Optim Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery, and Security Configurations. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with compliance and data governance regulations.
