Astrosoft - Senior Oracle Data Integrator Developer

Location : Hyderabad (Hybrid) Experience : 5-10 Years About the Role : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ODI Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development, particularly using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c. This role requires a deep understanding of PL/SQL, SQL, and ETL processes, along with experience in designing, developing, and implementing robust data integration solutions. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c. - Develop and maintain ODI repositories, packages, variables, and scenarios using interfaces. - Implement data transformations, cleansing, and validation rules within ODI. - Write complex PL/SQL and SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and loading. - Optimize ETL performance and ensure data quality. - Implement monitoring and alerting for ETL processes to ensure required availability. - Utilize Control-M for job scheduling and orchestration. - Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms. - Troubleshoot and resolve ETL related issues. - Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of ETL processes and standards. - Work with Oracle databases and related technologies. Required Skills and Experience : - Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with ETL development. - Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL programming. - In-depth understanding of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c and its components, including Knowledge Modules (KMs). - Experience with ODI repositories, packages, variables, and scenarios using interfaces. - Hands-on experience with Control-M for job scheduling. - Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) concepts and implementation. - Strong PL/SQL skills, including functions, stored procedures, cursors, indexes, query performance tuning techniques, bulk collect, hints, external tables/global temporary tables, etc. - Experience in implementing monitoring solutions for ETL processes. - Solid understanding of Oracle databases. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with other ETL tools. - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. (ref:hirist.tech)
