Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description : As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our software development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our e-commerce/retail applications meet the highest standards of quality. Your expertise in automation testing, combined with your knowledge of e-commerce platforms, will be essential to your success. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Selenium. - Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications. - Execute automated tests and analyze test results. - Identify, report, and track defects using defect tracking tools. - Develop and execute automated tests for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications. - Utilize SFCC-specific testing tools and frameworks. - Understand and validate e-commerce functionalities within the SFCC platform. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality. - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews. - Apply knowledge of the e-commerce/retail domain to ensure thorough testing of relevant applications. - Understand and validate business requirements and processes. Required Skills : - Strong experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium. - Proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. - Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, etc.). - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Programming Skills : - Proficiency in Java programming. Testing Concepts : - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Experience with different types of testing (functional, regression, performance). - Good to Have Skills : Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) : - Experience testing SFCC applications. - Knowledge of SFCC-specific testing tools and frameworks.
