Credit Analyst

If you have a passion for finance and a keen eye for risk assessment, this role is perfect for you Responsibilities Credit Assessments: Review and assess the financial history of applicants (individuals or entities) to determine creditworthiness. Risk Analysis: Conduct risk and affordability assessments, presenting findings to management. Application Processing: Handle applications for credit facilities and ensure compliance with financial policies. Securities Management: Oversee the establishment of securities for approved credit facilities. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external parties, including auditors and banks. General Administration: Manage office administration tasks and resolve customer inquiries. Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as required within the finance department. Requirements National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Law . Membership of the Institute for Credit Control (preferred). At least 2 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or financial services. Strong analytical, financial, and administrative skills . Ability to interpret audited financial statements . Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for interactions with auditors and financial institutions. Understanding of credit risk regulations and financial compliance requirements. Experience with financial analysis software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel . Strong accuracy and problem-solving skills to ensure precise financial assessments. Ability to manage complex financial assessments . Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. High level of self-awareness and achievement orientation .
