Project Lead

Job Description : Responsibilities : - Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale software application projects, encompassing all phases of the SDLC. - Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and communication strategies. - Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. - Establish and maintain project governance structures and processes. - Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices. - Collaborate with architects and engineers to define technical requirements, evaluate technology options, and resolve technical challenges. - Oversee the integration of complex systems and technologies. - Ensure the implementation of robust testing and quality assurance processes. - Lead and motivate cross-functional development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. - Manage team performance, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development. - Coordinate communication and collaboration between development teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. - Resolve conflicts and address team challenges effectively. - Identify and assess project risks and issues, developing mitigation and contingency plans. - Proactively manage risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on project timelines and deliverables. - Escalate critical issues to senior management as needed. - Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization. - Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including personnel, hardware, and software. - Monitor project progress and adjust resource allocation as needed. - Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and issue logs. - Communicate technical concepts and project information clearly and concisely to both technical and non technical audiences. - Prepare and present project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project management and software development. - Conduct post-project reviews and identify lessons learned for future projects. Requirements : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - At least 8 years of experience in building large-scale software applications. - Proven experience in managing complex software development projects from inception to deployment. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.). - Expertise in project management tools and techniques (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Gantt charts, risk management). - Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies. - Strong knowledge of database systems, API development, and web technologies. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. - PMP or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of large-scale applications.
