Certified Chartered Accountant

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing accurate reports, and supporting strategic financial planning. Youll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and contributing to the companys long-term success. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify inconsistencies or financial irregularities Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, etc.) Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations Assist in financial planning and decision-making by providing insights and recommendations Support internal controls and continuously improve accounting processes and systems Guide junior accountants and support staff when necessary Requirements: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA) or equivalent) Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within [industry, e.g., FMCG, retail, manufacturing] Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and tax legislation Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, Pastel, QuickBooks) Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and integrity Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
