SAP ABAP Consultant - Implementation & Support

Role purpose : As an SAP ABAP consultant, you will design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on ABAP programming. You will be involved in testing and supporting development objects on SAP implementation and maintenance projects, as well as re-engineering and analyzing highly complex application programs and integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects across multiple platforms. Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership : - Collaborate closely with SAP functional teams to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality. - Prepare technical design documents and conduct unit testing. - Analyze current RICEFWs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) to identify opportunities for improvements and automation. - Manage multiple tasks and development items, clearly communicating status and potential issues. - Oversee tasks or development items through the SDLC using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Define and communicate user scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders. Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience : Technical Skills : - Proficient in SAP ABAP programming with a strong understanding of its ecosystems. - Interfaces: ALE, IDOC, BAPI, enhancement - ABAP on HANA - OData protocol. - SAP UI5/FIORI. Required Qualifications and Skills : - Education Qualification B.E/B.Tech - Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. - Preferred: SAP certification. - Good communication skills.
