About the job : We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex software projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stakeholder management, risk mitigation, governance, Agile methodologies, and software development processes. This role demands expertise in project planning, execution, resource management, and quality assurance while driving high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities : Risk & Issue Management : - Identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. - Develop contingency plans to ensure smooth project execution. Software Development & Engineering Best Practices : - Ensure the adoption of software delivery methodologies and Agile best practices. - Oversee test and defect management to maintain high-quality standards. - Implement metrics-driven management models for continuous improvement. Team & Resource Management : - Build and nurture high-performing teams, ensuring engagement and career development. - Provide mentorship and leadership to enhance team productivity. - Manage project resourcing, estimation, and skill planning to meet project needs. Technology & Domain Expertise : - Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, DevOps, cloud technologies, and Agile methodologies. - Experience working on enterprise-grade IT solutions. - Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and deliver value-added solutions. Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) : - Sprint velocity/team productivity - Planned vs. actual schedule, effort, and cost - Risk management index - Defect density, rework effort, and defect leakage - Customer & team satisfaction scores Required Skills & Qualifications : - 12-15 years of experience in technical project management in an IT environment. - Proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. - Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement, risk management, and governance models. - Hands-on experience in software development and delivery best practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with quantitative project tracking. - Experience in cloud computing, DevOps, and enterprise software is a plus. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
