SAP FICO Consultant - Implementation & Support

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and implementing comprehensive SAP FICO solutions that align with our clients' unique business requirements. You will leverage your deep expertise in financial accounting and controlling processes to deliver efficient, scalable, and compliant solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record of successful SAP FICO implementations. Responsibilities : SAP FICO Configuration & Implementation : - Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (FI - Financial Accounting and CO - Controlling) to meet specific business needs and industry best practices. - Implement and support a wide range of FICO functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). - Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications, technical documentation, and configuration guides. - Conduct rigorous system testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) to ensure solution quality and performance. Business Process Analysis & Optimization : - Conduct thorough analysis of clients' financial business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. - Design and implement tailored SAP FICO solutions that streamline financial operations and enhance decision-making. - Lead workshops and gather detailed requirements from business users and stakeholders. - Develop and document comprehensive business process flows and solution designs. Data Migration & Integration : - Plan and execute seamless data migration activities for SAP FICO implementations, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - Develop and maintain robust data mapping and transformation rules. - Integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e., SD, MM) and external systems using appropriate integration technologies. - Ensure data consistency and reliability across integrated systems. User Training & Support : - Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices. - Develop user-friendly training materials, including user manuals, presentations, and quick reference guides. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP FICO issues and errors in a timely and efficient manner. - Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented SAP FICO systems. Project Management & Collaboration : - Manage SAP FICO implementation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. - Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers. - Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Continuous Learning & Innovation : - Stay abreast of the latest SAP FICO technologies, best practices, and industry trends. - Research and evaluate new SAP FICO tools, functionalities, and methodologies. - Contribute to the development of internal knowledge repositories and best practice documentation. - Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance expertise. Qualifications : Education : - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience : - [Number] years of proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant. - Demonstrated expertise in configuring and implementing SAP FICO modules. - Strong understanding of finance and controlling processes and best practices. - Experience with data migration, integration, and reporting. - Proven experience in managing SAP FICO implementation projects.
