Operations Manager

OPERATIONS MANAGER - Spa & Beauty SEA POINT (Atlantic Seaboard) - Western-Cape (ZA) Starting Date: A.S.A.P / 01 May 2025 OPERATING HOURS & SHIFTS: Monday - Friday 45 hours per week / 180 hours per month 08:00am - 17:00pm / 09:00am - 18:00pm Opening Shift 07:00am - 15:00pm (may be required occasionally) Closing Shift 10:00am - 19:00pm (may be required occasionally) You may be required to work ONE Saturday per month and this will form part of your 45 hour work week CLOSED on Sundays and all major public holidays (Easter / Christmas) REPORTS TO: Spa Manager / Owners SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS: R18,000 - R22,000 per month (based on desired experience) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Certification from a recognized Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Spa Management Professionally groomed & highly presentable - you must look the part and set an example to your team Managerial experience of a high-end salon or day spa is essential Computer literate with booking systems, emails and reports (ESP / HeadStart / Chi-Desk / Salon Iris or similar) Own, reliable transport for traveling to Sea Point Clear, fluent command of English Confident in communicating with clients, employees and managers of other departments SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Confident leading a large, diverse team of professionals including front of house, therapists and attendants Knowledgeable on skin care, spa therapies and beauty systems Cruise Ship employment/International employment experience - highly beneficial Knowledge of spa & salon procedures train employees on company protocols and follow up on company brand trainings promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa Achieve and maintain targets / Demonstrated comprehension of revenue and budgets Basic HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, assessments and evaluations Maintain profitability & ensure effective Inventory and stock control Oversee facility maintenance (housekeeping / kitchen / FOH / Rooms etc)
