Senior Accountant

As they continue to grow and strengthen their financial operations, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced accounting professional to contribute to the continued success of the company. Duties: Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Ensure the accuracy of general ledger entries, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. Provide a detailed variance analysis on actuals versus budget and report findings to senior management. Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting, accounting procedures, and internal controls. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, helping management understand key financial metrics and performance trends. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles with a recognized Degree in accounting or finance. Experience: At least 35 years of experience as an Accountant, with hands-on exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures, inventory, and cost accounting principles.
