Data Warehouse Developer - ETL Processes

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting robust data warehouse solutions, efficient ETL processes, and insightful BI reporting. You will leverage your expertise in Oracle Data Warehouse and the Microsoft BI Stack to ensure seamless data integration, optimal performance, and accurate reporting for our business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities : Data Warehouse Development : - Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions utilizing Oracle Data Warehouse technologies. - Implement and optimize data models, schemas, and database structures to support business intelligence requirements. - Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the data warehouse. ETL Development and Management : - Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using SSIS, Informatica, or Ab Initio to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse. - Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs and data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data loading. - Implement data quality checks and validation processes within ETL pipelines. BI Reporting and Analytics : - Build and manage BI reports, dashboards, and cubes using SSAS and SSRS to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. - Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and transformation. - Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy. Data Governance and Performance Optimization : - Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance. - Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance, including query tuning, indexing, and partitioning. - Collaborate with database administrators to ensure optimal database performance. Batch Process Support : - Provide batch process support, and resolve any issues that arise. Required Skills and Experience : - 5 years of proven experience in data warehouse development and ETL processes. - Strong expertise in Oracle Data Warehouse and batch process support. - Hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS). - Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. - Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques. - Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Desired Skills and Experience (Nice to Have) : - Experience with Informatica, Ab Initio, or Teradata. - Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift). - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau). - Experience with python or other scripting languages.
