Manhattan TMS Consultant

Responsibilities : - Lead and participate in full lifecycle Manhattan TMS implementations. - Configure Manhattan TMS modules to align with client business requirements, including transportation planning, execution, and freight settlement. - Develop and implement custom solutions and extensions within the Manhattan TMS platform. - Perform system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Conduct workshops and interviews with clients to gather detailed business requirements. - Analyze client transportation processes and identify opportunities for optimization. - Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. - Design and develop tailored Manhattan TMS solutions that meet client needs. - Plan and execute data migration activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and loading. - Develop and maintain data integration processes between Manhattan TMS and other systems (e.g., ERP, WMS). - Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the implementation process. - Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for Manhattan TMS issues. - Diagnose and resolve complex system problems. - Develop and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles. - Manage project tasks and timelines to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery. - Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. - Lead client training sessions and knowledge transfer. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Manhattan TMS releases and features. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies. Required Skills : - 7 years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Manhattan TMS solutions. - Deep understanding of Manhattan TMS modules and functionalities. - Strong knowledge of transportation planning, execution, and freight settlement processes. - Experience with Manhattan SCALE TMS is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of transportation and logistics principles and practices. - Knowledge of freight management, carrier management, and routing optimization. - Experience with various transportation modes (e.g., truckload, LTL, parcel). Data Management & Integration : - Experience with data migration and data integration principles. - Proficiency in SQL and database management. - Experience with API integrations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to gather and analyze business requirements. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong presentation and training skills. - Ability to manage project tasks and deadlines effectively. - Experience with project management methodologies. Preferred Skills (Optional) : - Experience with other TMS systems. - Knowledge of supply chain management principles. - Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript). - Relevant certifications in transportation or logistics. - Experience in the retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing industry.
