Enlink - Data Engineer - AWS Cloud

Responsibilities : - AWS Data Services : Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR). - ETL/ELT Development : Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into AWS data storage. - Data Pipeline Automation : Automate data processing tasks and workflows using AWS services and scripting (Python, Bash). - Data Warehousing : Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes on AWS for analytical purposes. - Data Quality and Monitoring : Implement data quality checks and monitoring solutions to ensure data integrity and reliability within the AWS environment. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Utilize IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform) to manage and deploy AWS data infrastructure. - Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks within the AWS cloud. - Documentation : Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines and AWS infrastructure. Qualifications : - Experience : 2-4 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer. - AWS Expertise : Strong understanding of AWS data services and best practices. - Python Proficiency : Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation. - SQL Skills : Solid SQL skills for data querying and manipulation. - ETL/ELT Experience : Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes. - Data Warehousing : Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies on AWS. - Cloud Infrastructure : Understanding of cloud infrastructure and IaC principles. - Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Communication : Good communication and collaboration skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Version Control : Proficient with Git. Preferred Qualifications : - AWS certifications (AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty). - Experience with big data technologies on AWS (EMR, Spark). - Experience with data orchestration tools (AWS Step Functions, Airflow). - Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) on AWS. - Knowledge of data security best practices on AWS (ref:hirist.tech)
