Enlink - Senior Data Engineer - ETL

Responsibilities : - Data Architecture & Design : Design and implement scalable and robust data architectures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. - Data Pipeline Development & Optimization : Lead the development and optimization of complex data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes, using advanced techniques and tools. - Data Warehousing & Data Lakes : Architect and maintain data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring data accessibility and usability for analytics and reporting. - Performance Tuning & Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing data pipelines and systems for maximum efficiency. - Data Governance & Quality : Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security. - Cloud Infrastructure : Architect and manage cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), leveraging cloud services for scalability and efficiency. - Team Leadership & Mentorship : Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence. - Strategic Planning : Collaborate with stakeholders to define data strategies and roadmaps, aligning data initiatives with business objectives. - Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Implement automation and IaC principles to streamline data infrastructure management. - Troubleshooting & Incident Response : Lead the resolution of complex data-related issues and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime. Qualifications : Experience : 5-7 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex data systems. - Deep understanding of data architecture principles and best practices. - Extensive experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines using advanced tools and techniques. - Strong expertise in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL. - Extensive experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies. - Proven ability to optimize data pipelines and systems for performance and scalability. - Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and guide team members. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex data challenges. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - Proficient with Git. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop). - Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect). - Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration. - Knowledge of data governance and security best practices. - Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) (ref:hirist.tech)
