Presales Data Architect

Role : Presales Data Architect. Location : Chennai (On-site). Key Responsibilities : - Engage with clients to assess their technical needs and recommend comprehensive data solutions. - Build and demonstrate proof-of-concept environments showcasing capabilities to potential clients. - Develop and maintain expertise in a wide range of data-related tools, platforms, and services. - Participate as a member of the sales engagement team in pursuit of new business opportunities. - Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions. - Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise and -strategic insights. - Lead the pre-sales cycle, supporting the design and implementation of scalable data solutions. - Create technical content, including whitepapers, blogs, and videos, to enhance brand thought leadership. - Lead webinars and training sessions to promote solutions and services. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes. - Lead technical discussions and guide customers on technology adoption and new initiatives. Technical Expertise : - Solid understanding of databases and data modeling concepts. - Comprehensive knowledge of data warehouse (DWH) architectures, including enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and data marts, using various schemas. - Experience designing and building data pipelines using cloud and on-premises data platforms. - Familiarity with data platform services such as cloud-based data integration, data processing, and analytics services. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies. - Ability to lead enterprise data strategies, including data lake implementations. - Proven track record of deriving business insights from large data sets. - Ability to articulate complex data solutions clearly and concisely to senior management. - Experience leading and delivering full-cycle implementation projects related to data and business intelligence. - Excellent communication and presentation skills (Good to have experience with C-Level executives). - Strong team and stakeholder management skills. - Good Knowledge of Infrastructure, Application Architectures, APIs, microservices, and Middleware/integration components. Tools & Technology Experience (Must have) : - Strong SQL or PLSQL hands-on experience. - In any one of the ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, ADF, AWS Glue, Talend, Databricks etc.). - In any one of the BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, Cognos, Qliksense, Tableau etc., ). - In any one of the Cloud platforms (AES, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure etc.,). - Good understanding of Big Data platform, Databricks, Python and Spark. Experience : - Overall IT Experience : 12 Years. - Datawarehousing/ETL/BI : Minimum 10 Years. - Architect/Presales Architect : Minimum 3 years. (ref:hirist.tech)
