Financial Accountant

A well-established retail company , specializing in home improvement and DIY products, is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to permanently join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting financial operations within the business . Duties: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and monthly management reports. Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Assist with internal and external audits. Provide general accounting support to the finance department as needed. Qualifications & Skills: A BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance.
