We bring our purpose to life via three shared values: We walk the talk, turn over every stone and keep it human.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Yield & Inventory Manager, based in our Sydney sales office, who has the business acumen to drive innovative and considered strategy to support Nine’s sales teams nationally. This role is a paternity leave cover position, supporting us until the end of the financial year (June).The Commerce team is the operational support team within the Nine Advertising Sales division.Commerce provides Sales team support through working with Sales leadership to define business goals, providing insights and data-led strategies.Day to day you will:Develop and implement Sales inventory strategy for Nine's Regional TV and Digital Publishing AssetsPartner with our sales team to maximise revenue by providing trading guidance, packaging & added value guidelines, embodying a customer service excellence mentalityDrive revenue through insights, strategic planning, innovation and thought leadershipBuild trusted relationships with stakeholders and have the ability to adjust your communication style in line with your audienceArticulate revenue strategies when working with commercial and sales teamsOversee creation & management of key inventory & revenue reporting across Nine’s businessDrive best practice & system expertise across our revenue, inventory tools and systemsManage a team of specialists across Regional TV and Digital Publishing platformsAd hoc project work as requiredQualificationsQualificationsProven experience within media / advertising Pricing, yield and inventory management experienceExperience in leading a teamStrong excel skillsAnalytical skills that can be weaponized in real world scenariosA strong understanding of the media industry marketplace, especially DigitalAdditional InformationBeing part of our Nine Sales team means you will benefit from:Competitive Sales Incentive Scheme that rewards and recognises performance & success.
