The goal is to collect usefull information for the internal department aiming at the RISC-V architecture. In your new role you will: Work with the RISC-Vs and another microprocessors architecure Align with various internal departments and collect their performance requirements Define the benchmarks to compare those architures Implement some test benches to test the benchmarks and collect the results This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university. Further Information Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.) Duration: min. 12 months Profile You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed Master student from the field of Electronics, Power Electronics, Robotics or Mechatronics or similar. You are best equipped for this Master Thesis if you additionally have: A solid understanding of digital design and embedded systems Some experience in embedded programming Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadline Have fluent English skills, both written and spoken This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students(https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf).
