Role : Microsoft Fabric Engineer Location : Pune - Hybrid (wfo for 1 day/month) Experience : 7 yrs CTC : 24lpa Note : Microsoft Fabric, including its core components like Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Power BI, and other integrated tools JD : We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Data Platform Engineer with hands-on work experience on Microsoft Fabric to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a professional with an understanding of Microsoft Fabric, who can help us leverage its unified data platform to streamline data processes, enhance analytics, and drive business insights. As a Microsoft Fabric Engineer, you will support the implementation, optimization, and management of Microsoft Fabric's integrated suite of tools for data engineering, data science, and business intelligence using best practices. 1. Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Fabric, including its core components like Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Power BI, and other integrated tools. 2. Experience in setting up Medallion architecture. Design and implement data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data workflows using Microsoft Fabric tools such as Dataflows, Power BI, and Azure Synapse. 3. Can engineer the integration of various data sources (cloud and on-premises) into Microsoft Fabric for centralized data management. 4. Manage data lakes, data warehouses, and other cloud-based storage solutions within Microsoft Fabric to ensure consistent, accurate, and accessible data. 5. Proficiency in SQL, DAX, or similar querying languages used within Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. 6. Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python or Scala for data manipulation and automation tasks. 7. Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to design scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Should also be able to work with Microsoft team for troubleshooting. 8. Support the design and implementation of data models, reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions for both technical and business users. 9. Continuously monitor performance and optimize data workflows, data ingestion pipelines, and report generation within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. 10. Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the data process and recommend or implement improvements. 11. Implement data security measures, including role-based access control, encryption, and data masking within the Microsoft Fabric platform 12.
