Job Description
Job Title : ServiceNow CSM Developer Location : Chennai (Onsite - Customer Premises) Experience : 2-8 YEARS Employment Type : Full-Time Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CSM Developer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM). The ideal candidate must have a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification (latest or latest-1) and should be able to obtain it before joining if not currently certified. The CSM Implementation Specialist certification is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has strong implementation expertise. This role requires strong knowledge of ServiceNow CSM (GSConnect) development, integrations, testing, and performance optimization. The candidate will be responsible for implementing ServiceNow CSM solutions, ensuring seamless integrations, and providing continuous system improvements. Key Responsibilities : 1. ServiceNow CSM Development & Implementation : - Design, implement, and integrate ServiceNow CSM (GSConnect) solutions based on business requirements. - Develop and configure ServiceNow CSM applications, workflows, business rules, and UI components. - Customize ServiceNow functionalities following best practices and structured coding standards. - Plan and implement interfaces between major systems and third-party integrations. 2. System Optimization & Troubleshooting : - Conduct code reviews, identify potential issues, and implement necessary improvements. - Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution across multiple applications. - Identify and implement automation solutions to improve instance performance and support team efficiency. 3. Testing & Quality Assurance : - Develop test deliverables such as test plans, test cases, defect management reports, and quality control checklists. - Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure system reliability. - Coordinate and maintain test environments, data manipulation, and validation processes. 4. Collaboration & Support : - Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to align CSM solutions with business goals. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. - Prepare progress reports and key milestone updates for ServiceNow CSM development projects. - Support continuous enhancements and performance optimizations for the ServiceNow CSM platform. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 2-5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow CSM development (less than 2 years will not be considered). - Mandatory : ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification (Latest or Latest-1). - Preferred : ServiceNow CSM Implementation Specialist certification (or equivalent hands-on experience). - Strong expertise in ServiceNow CSM, GSConnect, and third-party system integrations. - Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflows, business rules, UI actions, and ACLs. - Experience with ServiceNow API integrations, REST/SOAP web services, and automation scripting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) : - Experience in ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM modules. - Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting tools. - Exposure to ServiceNow UI/UX customization and portal development. - Experience with AI-driven automation for ServiceNow platforms.
