Material Manager

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for an E&I Inspector for a long-term project based at a supplier in the Tarragona area. We are looking for an experienced Material Manager in the Oil & Gas sector who will be responsible for managing and optimizing materials and supplies required for operational activities for a long-term project based at the Tempa Rossa site - Basilicata, Italy . Main Responsibilities: Use and mastery of the following Tools: SAP S/4HANA P2P ERP Module: MM [Material Management] WM [Warehouse Management], UNISOL centralized system, Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Teams. Identify any type of materials managed as electrical, instrumental, mechanical (piping, rotating machines, etc.), inspection, chemical, oils, PPE, Spill kit, IT/Telecom, drilling/completion/well heads. Identify any category of materials managed as operating spare parts (consumable, supervised), capital spare parts (critical). Proper interface technical/commercial/accounting/warehouse for management of the stock and requirements. Creation/modification/check/optimization of MM [material master data]. Stock analysis and configuration and/or revision of stocks/requirements by means of MRP [Material Requirements Planning]. Management and supervision of purchasing process since the demand to the finalization of the order. Management of requirements within the KPIs indicated by the company. Monitoring of the purchasing process through checking of delivery dates and expediting. Management through claims with the supplier of discrepancies in reception. Monthly reporting with analyses and corrective actions including surplus reduction/sale/disposal. Rolling out/punctual/annual inventories. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in logistics activities/operations and a suitable general knowledge in oil industry logistics. Teambuilding awareness, leadership, multicultural awareness, environmental awareness, organization skills. Fluent in Italian and good command of English.
