Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg - $1,843 per week in Roanoke, VA

Job Title: Med Surg RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: EPIC experience required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EPIC experience Description: The position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment. The work schedule is 3x12 hour days from 7 AM to 7 PM. The unit has a 26-bed capacity, focusing on medical care with some medical psych elements. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. The facility requires completion of orientation modules, which may be done pre-start or during orientation. Orientation consists of 24 hours, including specific hours for EPIC training for inpatient RNs. Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per season, including two winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's. COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are mandatory, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions only.
