ServiceNow Engineer - ITOM Implementation

Job Description : - 5 of experience with the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on ITOM implementations, Service Mapping and Discovery modules - Certified in CIS -ITSM , CIS - Discovery, CIS - Service Mapping. - Manages and improves ServiceNow Discovery and ServiceNow Services Mapping for on-prem / cloud inventory - Define configuration items and classes, attributes, data collection, and governance that are important to support other ITSM modules and business objectives - Hands-on experience in Building and supporting integrations with data sources other than ServiceNow Discovery. - Expertise in Setting up and administration of MID servers - Create/update/remove Discovery ranges and schedules - Monitor CMDB health and resolve conflicts between data sources. Interpret Discovery logs and data to diagnose issues. - Expert knowledge in defining identification and reconciliation rules Area of Responsibility : - Incident Mgt - Release Management - License Mgt - Vulnerability Mgt - Patching - Clone Downs - Upgrades, including skips and testing - DSA (Distributed Security Access) and MyAccess - DR Testing - Configuration Chgs - Review System Performance - Answer Platform Level Questions - Certificate Management - Firewall Rule Management - Functional ID/Service Account Management - Manage passwords in 5/3 Vaults - Monitor Daily, weekly and monthly jobs - Manage 30 Integrations with other systems - Review Error Logs - Software Code Management (e.g. GitHub) - Data Extracts - Audit Support - Maintain prod and non-prod environments (10) - Code Reviews - Maintain 5/3 development standards (ref:hirist.tech)
