Technical Lead - Node.js Framework

We are hiring for the role of Tech Lead - Node.js for one of our government clients. Note : Immediate joiners only. Please find the JD below : Key Responsibilities : Technical Leadership : - Lead and mentor a team of developers in designing, developing, and deploying - Node.js applications for data platforms. - Establish and enforce best coding practices and ensure code quality through code reviews and mentorship. - Provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. Data Platform Development : - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the development of robust APIs and services. - Design and maintain scalable APIs for data ingestion, transformation, and management. - Implement data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing. - Utilize containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for deployment management. Software Architecture and Design : - Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable, and secure application and data platform architecture. - Design system components to handle large-scale data storage, processing, and analytics. - Implement microservices and serverless solutions for data management. Development Oversight : - Oversee the development, testing, and deployment processes. - Identify and resolve technical challenges and performance bottlenecks. - Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps engineers, and product managers. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights. Security and Compliance : - Ensure data security by implementing best practices in authentication, authorization, and encryption. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications and Experience : Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience : - Minimum of 8 of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Extensive experience in backend development using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS). - Proven experience working on large-scale, data-intensive platforms. - Experience with designing and managing data lakes, data warehouses, or real time analytics systems.
