IT Support Specialist - IT Operations

Job Title : IT Support : Bangalore, Chennai, : 3-5 Type : Period : 30 Summary : We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and system administration. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to support end-users efficiently. The IT Support Specialist will ensure smooth IT operations and provide technical assistance to employees across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues in desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications. - Troubleshoot network issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity problems. - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory. - Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance. - Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software repairs and replacements. - Assist in IT asset management and inventory control. - Ensure security protocols are followed and implement system updates/patches. - Document technical procedures, solutions, and user guides for internal reference. - Provide remote and on-site support as needed. - Collaborate with different teams to improve IT processes and Skills & : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related : - 3-5 years in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration. - Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. - Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools. - Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and IT security best practices. - Networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations. - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. - Certifications like CompTIA A, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or ITIL Foundation are a : - Competitive salary package. - Health and wellness benefits. - Career growth and learning opportunities. - Friendly and collaborative work environment. - Work with the latest technologies and IT solutions (ref:hirist.tech)
