Concierge

Be as an integral part of the hotel operation – service to the guest. Responsible for creating a welcoming first impression. Be a multi-talented individual and he/she must be acquainted with the island. Able to demonstrate tact and diplomacy on a moment’s notice. Have a positive effect on each guest experience. Greet guests and assist with all questions and luggage, and provide recommendations for and directions, attractions, and events. At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations. Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure. Must be effective at handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary. Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.
