Job Description
Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, the Email & Loyalty Marketing Specialist will be a brand ambassador and are responsible for email & loyalty marketing as part of a wider digital marketing strategy. They will focus on email acquisition/retention, build & manage email lists & segments, analysing and optimizing emails for conversion and sales. They will help develop and communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate new and existing consumers. Your responsibilities will include: Work closely with marketing team to deliver compelling email communications for various audiences in Emarsys marketing platform Set up and maintain various automation workflows Work with email marketing Emarsys strategists to create and improve email campaigns, webforms & brand email templates Focus on customer metrics for Ren’s Rewards members, including the VIP tier, to drive loyalty to the brand through our email marketing program Develop strong email tactics to execute for lapsed customers, to encourage them back as shoppers with Ren’s Champion the Referral Program, to meet referrals and referral purchase targets from our customer base, including a consumer and groomer program Daily monitoring of campaign and delivery performance Weekly reports to Marketing Manager, results on open rates, click rates Measure results and optimize campaigns and workflows based on Emarsys analytics data Using KPI’s and measurable metrics create segmentation strategies, A/B testing of subject lines, and content to drive higher open & click rates Report, track and analyze campaign performance proving success in strategies and ROI. Create and manage email lists & segments Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure all email complaints/concerns/unsubscribes are addressed in a timely manner Stay current on email marketing best practices and utilize those findings to improve Maintains technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing current trends and keeps up to date with latest email/ loyalty marketing & digital trends etc. What makes you an ideal candidate: Must have 3-5 years’ professional experience working as an Email Marketing Specialist Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a Marketing or related field Experience with coding language HTML, ESL is required. Experience in identifying target audiences and devising email campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate Experience with analysing data Understanding of CRM systems Highly collaborative and organized Team player with a positive attitude Strong communication, copy writing, editing and content management skills Understanding of marketing fundamentals and its application to multi-channel marketing for retail environments Ability to multitask, handle a fast-paced environment & meet deadlines Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments At Ren’s Pets, we celebrate diversity and inclusion and are looking for unique and talented individuals to join our team.
