Job Overview: Excalibur Insurance Group is looking for a dynamic and motivated Insurance Sales Broker to join our innovative and client-focused team. This role involves engaging with pre-qualified leads to convert inquiries into customers, with no cold calling or prospecting required. You will evaluate client needs, provide tailored insurance solutions, and guide clients seamlessly from quote to sale. Your goal is to ensure an exceptional client experience while achieving individual and team sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Contact assigned leads by phone, email, and text message to convert insurance quote inquiries into policies. Evaluate prospective clients’ needs, recommend appropriate coverages, and provide them with an accurate quote. Guide clients through the sales process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from initial contact to policy issuance. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of insurance products and educate clients on their coverage options. Prepare insurance applications and ensure that all required documentation for the policy is collected. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including underwriters and insurance companies, to secure optimal insurance solutions for clients. Work with the Personal Lines Account Managers to assist with the transition after sale, as the prospect becomes a client. Provide regular feedback to the Sales Team Manager to enhance processes and improve the overall customer experience. Track and report personal and team goals, sharing insights on trends, challenges, and opportunities in the marketplace. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and sales activities using internal systems such as TruLeads and Applied TAM/Epic. Qualifications: Licensing: Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) license is required. Experience: 1 years in an insurance sales role. Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen and passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. Technical Skills: Familiarity with types of coverage, policy wordings, and insurance products is essential. Experience with Microsoft Office programs and Applied TAM/Epic is an asset. Problem-Solving Skills : Strong ability to troubleshoot, research, and identify solutions to provide clients with optimal coverage options. This includes reviewing policy wordings, conducting online research, and collaborating directly with insurance companies and team members. Communication Skills : Strong customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and a professional demeanor. Ability to explain complex insurance coverage to customers. Detail-Oriented : Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Mindset: Team player with a proactive approach to achieving goals and supporting peers. What’s In It For You?
