International Purchase Controller in Heerenveen Become an International Purchase Controller at OG Clean Fuels in Heerenveen – Contribute to a more sustainable Europe Do you want to contribute to a cleaner future in a challenging international role? OG Clean Fuels, with over 300 refueling locations across Europe, is looking for an International Purchase Controller to strengthen our mission – maximizing the impact of sustainable fuels within the mobility market. Read on What you will do As an International Purchase Controller, you bridge the purchasing and sales departments at OG Clean Fuels. You are responsible for balancing the fuels we purchase with those we sell across our four countries (the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and Italy). With your financial analyses, calculations, KPI reporting, and management of CO2-certificates, you play a direct role in our European growth. Your work is diverse, challenging, and influenced by global developments and European regulations. Your daily responsibilities include: Financial analyses and calculations: Monitoring margins, performing calculations, and keeping the department’s KPIs on track. Dashboard reporting: Developing and maintaining dashboards to provide insights into performance and processes. Result accountability: Ensuring an optimal balance between fuel purchasing and sales, while managing CO2-certificates as part of our sustainability goals. Dynamic and varied work: Responding daily to changing market conditions and regulations. International collaboration: Procuring fuels for our operations in four countries and contributing to our European expansion. External relations: Maintaining relationships with international partners and ensuring contract compliance. Strategic planning: Supporting the Energy & Wholesale department in long-term contracts and decisions. What you bring We are looking for a driven professional who is analytically strong, has a strong sense of responsibility and thrives in an international, dynamic environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree level, preferably in Economics, Finance, or Business Management. Language skills: English is required. Dutch and/or German are a plus. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as financial administrative assistant or assistant controller. Attributes: Proactive, flexible, result-driven and independent. Analytical skills: Strong in interpreting data and developing strategic insights. Communication skills: Adept at liaising with internal and external stakeholders and building sustainable relationships.
