Civil Supervisor/ GF - Wales and the Southwest About the job Matcon Civil Engineering Ltd are looking to appoint a Civil Site Supervisor to join our Infrastructure - Water Sector/Heavy Civils Team. Role & Responsibilities · Implement daily site diary and allocation sheets · Facilitate statutory legal regulations paying specific attention to HSE legislation · Conducting/recording site inspections. · Ensuring all works are carried out in line with approved method statements · Review and adaptation of risk assessments. · Assist with all ordering & plant allocation. Person specification: · Extensive experience of the construction industry reinforced concrete works, pipelines (pumped and gravity) hard landscaping, roads and drainage etc · Proven people management skills (including the management of sub-contractors) · Understand teams’ strengths and weaknesses · Practical hands-on approach and leads from the front Training requirements (training provided if shortfall) · SMSTS or SSSTS · CSCS or NPORS · First aid · Confined spaces · Street works Excellent rate and package to the right candidate.
