Personal Injury Paralegal Location: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth or Inverness Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Salary: £26,000 - £38,000 We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our client. In this role, you will provide essential support to personal injury solicitors by assisting with a variety of tasks related to personal injury claims. You will help manage caseloads, liaise with clients, and ensure the smooth running of personal injury matters, all while maintaining a high level of client care and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Assist solicitors with the management of personal injury cases, including road traffic accidents, workplace injuries, slips and falls, and medical negligence claims. Liaise with clients , insurance companies, medical professionals, and other parties to gather relevant information for cases. Draft and prepare legal documents , such as claim forms, witness statements, and letters of claim. Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and properly filed. Monitor case progress , ensuring deadlines are met and relevant information is up to date. Assist with settlement negotiations by preparing offers and communicating with opposing parties. Prepare and file court documents as required, and assist solicitors in preparing for hearings or trials. Provide general administrative support to the personal injury department, including managing client files, maintaining records, and handling correspondence. Requirements: Experience as a Paralegal or similar role, ideally with exposure to personal injury law. Strong knowledge of personal injury law and related processes, with a keen interest in further developing your legal expertise. Excellent communication skills , with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, third parties, and legal professionals. Strong organisational skills , with the ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive client information with care and discretion.
